From an application you have the expectation that it will acomplish some funcionality. Let's say a currency conversion for example. You should select the input and output currencies the amount and see the result instantly.
Of course there are countless examples. During the pandemic we developed our own version for a multilingual mobile menu that allows the user to select dishes by predefined diets (vegan, halal) or removing specific allergens according to European Union regulations.
